Douglas Klein brings over 20 years of experience in tax controversy work and tax preparation, including a distinguished tenure at a national tax firm. His deep expertise spans IRS representation, estate taxation, and the unique financial situations that arise from family history research.
A passionate advocate for the family history community, Douglas currently serves as a Board Member of the National Genealogical Society and as its Treasurer — bringing the same rigor he applies to tax work to the stewardship of one of the nation's premier genealogical organizations.
He founded Tax Genie to fill a gap he witnessed firsthand: family historians deserved a tax expert who truly understood their world.
